Jefferson County Museum Support Staff: The Jefferson County Museum is seeking a friendly, dependable, and visitor-focused individual to join our team as Museum Support Staff. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, educational, and enjoyable experience for every visitor. The ideal candidate enjoys working with the public, communicates effectively, and brings a positive, professional attitude to the museum environment. This is a part-time position averaging approximately 8 hours per month. Museum Support Staff assist with the day-to-day operations of the museum by welcoming visitors, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining clean and inviting exhibit spaces, supporting educational programs and special events, assisting with exhibit preparation and care, and performing other duties as assigned by the Museum Director(s). Work hours are scheduled as needed during regular museum operating hours. Availability to work Saturdays is required. Starting salary is $18.29 per hour.
