EVENTS 2025

Meet Your Author Event! (Scott Erickson from Clancy, Montana)
Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Scott has spent almost 34 years in law enforcement, with the last 20 years working as a Federal Probation Officer in Montana, covering southwest Montana, supervising convicted federal offenders. He explained that during his career, he found very few people understood what he and other officers did, so he decided to write a novel explaining what happens after the FBI and other federal law enforcement officers arrest a defendant.  "The Debt" is a book that is a culmination of years of work and was self-published on Amazon in November of 2024. Books are currently available on the Amazon website.
In addition to discussing and reading from Scott's book, a special guest will be sharing their journey from methamphetamine addiction, through prison, home confinement, and supervision. A family member will also be there to discuss the effects of a parent using meth and being sentenced to prison. This story has been shared with hundreds of high school students.

The Jefferson County Museum offers various events to the public, such as speakers, open houses, demonstrations, and exhibit grand openings. Attendance is free of charge.
